There are a few options for cooker splashback materials, but we would of course always recommend glass. Marble is easy to scratch or chip when moving your pots and pans around, while stainless steel can become dull and misty (and even when new, we think it looks a little too industrial). Wood stains easily (watch out for those tomato splash stains and beetroot smears), and laminate doesn’t have the heat resistant qualities you need when cooking up a storm.
